ANALYSIS OF REACTANT VELOCITY DIFFERENCES ON BUNSEN BURNER FLAME IN ANSYS FLUENT SIMULATION METHOD
ANALISIS PERBEDAAN KECEPATAN REAKTAN TERHADAP NYALA API BUNSEN BURNER PADA METODE SIMULASI ANSYS FLUENT
Abstract
Renewable and new green energy utilization such as the effect of H2-air combustion by using tools to measure laminar flame speed, one of which is Bunsen burner. Measurements in the study were carried out through CFD simulations that varied the reactant speed against the Bunsen flame speed. The highest reactant velocity of 3 m/s from the H2-air mixture produces the greatest flame height, temperature, and laminar flame speed. This is because the combustion process of the H2-air mixture occurs so quickly that it produces stable combustion under stoichiometric conditions
